Happy Halloween to those who are celebrating Halloween, be it over the past weekend or tonight…

I was @POW on Fri nite for my musical pals Oceanband’s gig, always like their live performances & unique music style, really looking  forward to
their 2nd album coming real soon! My buddies - Lucas & Joe joined me @Dunlop St just before midnight, having RSVP for the Halloween Masquerade Party @Baa Bar Black Chic at first. However, after checking out the crowd there, we decided to save our energy for our Hibitant’s very own Red Whisper Halloween 2006 Private House Party on the following nite, we went to eat supper @Newton Circus instead…

Lucas, Danny, Joe & me went to Costume Magic! @Aliwal Street to shop for
our Halloween costumes, accessories & decorations on SAT noon time, then heading down to Jay’s bungalow @74A Dunbar Walk about 3pm+. After some decoration & preparation chores, we started to welcome our 1st batch of guests around 6pm+. I was
so-called the "butler" of the party for our "Maharaja" - Jay, greeting every guest when they arrived & made them feel @home as much as I could during the
party… The highlight of the party was a Sherlock Holmes triller-style game -
"Who is the murderer?", which was well-participated & enjoyed by our 40+ guests! All those Halloween party-goers to regular clubs like Zouk, MOS etc, that’s what U missed out in our Private House Party! We are really hope that our next Hibitant party would be as wonderful as tonight, if not even better! 

After resting @home on SUN daytime, I was @Insomnia as it’s Zuly’s last nite singing there. Really amazing & a bit emotional for me as her dynamic voice has completed many of my wonderful nites in 2006… She sang Kelly Clarkson’s "Because of you" & dedicated to me & her faithful audience
,
"Because of you, I never stray too far from the sidewalk. Because of you, I learned to play on the
safe side so I don’t get hurt…" While the lyrics came from her voice, many pics were on my mind running down the memory lane… As I wrote in the farewell gift to Zuly, "May blessings be with you, in every single day, every little way…"

Nothing much interesting to blog about on MON, just packing & preparing my trip to Taiwan from 1-14 Nov, my flight will be  @1pm from Changi Airport to Taoyuan International Airport tomorrow. Despite the postponing of Ms Bikini World Final, I believe I’ll still be enjoying much of the "Formosa Island", do check out my trip itinerary @my Friendster bulletin, ciao!

A year has passed by since the blog entry of "25 & a quarter…", my financial asset has increased slightly, yet what matter to me most, is the contacts & life experience I have undergone in these 365 days…

God may have plans for me, that’s why I blog about my career enhancement on the same day of both years! It’s PIAS intro day for me today, really knowledge-gaining & pleasure experience of mine! I had the honour to sit beside our CEO - Mr Bernard Maughan during our 7-course Cantonese dinner @Raffles City, we exchanged some enjoyable conversations, hope it’ll be the 1st of many…

A little rewind back to what I’ve been doing over the last week, I helped out a fellow artist from ArtCommunity - Brian Gothong Tan, the youngest artist being featured in SG Biennale 2006 to do his short film for National Museum of Singapore in the weekend. The short film is 3 mins long with 8 different sets & scenes, yet I took more than 400+ photos to document the whole filming process over 2 days. I must say this was an interesting experience working with a fellow aspiring local SG artist, which can’t be measured by monetary rewards… Nathaniel Ho was one of the actors featured in the short film, it’s good to catch up with him since we met @the Pre-NDP party @Balaclava 2 months ago…

SUN is the birthday of my ex-SAFCB buddy - Lenny, who invited me & his 5 other friends for a generous buffet dinner treat @Kublai Khan Mongolian BBQ Restaurant in the evening, simply lavish! After knowing my beloved Liverpool was 0-2 down to the Devils, I lost my interest on football on that night & moved on to have a great time @Insomnia, my favourite liveband club in Chijmes…

On MON Hari Raya eve, I met with Lyndnn for dinner & then went shopping with her @Bugis Village. Out of spontaneous fun, I took 2 portfolio-standard shots of her after she changed into her new dress, looking gorgeous on her…

Selamat Hari Raya! I went to East Coast with my buddies - Lucas & Joe on Tues noon time, had a relaxing afternoon on the beach, cool breeze! After a while of shopping @Takashimaya, where I got my Ferrari Eau de Toilette from, we headed back to Upper Thomson area to makan our dinner… Intended to head straight to our makan place, Lucas saw a TCM practice by chance that may cure Joe’s aching ligament, therefore we accompanied him in for consultation. Perhaps the doctor is a reputation one, we waited 1 hour before Joe stepped out from the consultation room, with lesser pain of course! After our well-deserved Dim Sum dinner, we headed back to Joe’s house to rest for a while before another Hibitant - Danny joining us to Dempsey Road for a btl of wine that I promised… We settled @Hacienda for our btl of Chilean Chardonnay, met the hip-cool PR manager - Esther there, cool gal to chat with & hope to chill out @my old NS camp premises more often soon…

I was having a bad headache & stomach upset on WED due to alcohol & food abuse over the past few days, nothing interesting to blog about, just resting @home… Fast-forward to a few hours ago on Thur, after my company dinner @Raffles City, I walked over to Paulaner Bräuhaus as a cool friendster of mine - Marcelly was singing there from 9:30pm. I enjoyed listening to the liveband & her singing over my Gin Tonic, she impressed me with her funkyness & shared with me about her working experience with Walton during her set intervals, who knows it may be a new biz link-up that would come to a win-win situation for both of us?

I was @Insomnia for Zuly & BNI’s performance, felt a bit emotional coz this coming 29 Oct will be Zuly’s last nite singing @Insomnia, at least for the time being… She sang one of my favourite songs - Alicia Keys‘ "If I ain’t got you", soothing & touchy as always, driving me down the memory lanes…

I shared the moral of the song "Running" with Zuly, as being a big fan of Gwen Stefani herself, I believe this would become our motivation to achieve our own aspirations individually…

I met with a Taiwanese friend - Louise @Takashimaya, as she was in town recently on Tues. We kinda "clicked" & I shared with her about the upcoming Singapore Fashion Week show, interesting gal to chat with, wish her the best of luck!

I chill out @POW on Wed nite just now for my musical pal - Victor Tang’s
gig. Soulful & well-delivered as usual, Vic, I seriously don’t think you are "Too ugly for the radio", I sincerely wish you all the best in your musical endeavour…

Time really flies, today is the 2nd Fri 13th, 9 months after the 1st of 2006…

I have just finished filming my latest MCS assignment - Doctors Files 3, as a SCDF officer of Singapore Rescue Team. The filming experience with co-star Terrace Cao, Darren Lim, was good & after almost 5 years freelancing in showbiz, I’ve finally worked with a Hollywood actress - Fann Wong!
The most memorable moment is when my role in the drama was rescuing the Indonesian villagers & doctors (Fann, Terrace & Darren) in an "earthquake" scene, I got the chance to HOLD FANN’s HAND walking out of the danger zone! Hehe…

On Thur last evening, I was treating my ex-colleague - Shih Leng for her belated birthday dinner @Vino Vino. She is actually 1/4 century younger than my mum on the date, what a conincidence! We had Caesar Salad for starter, sirloin steak for main course over a bottle of Chilean Chardonnay. The highlight of the nite was the "surprise" b’day brownie with me singing the R&B version of Happy Birthday Song, what a moment to be remembered! May blessed & fruitful years awaiting for U, "my goddess"… Best wishes!

I was doing my usual routine of checking my email & MSN in the daytime, my mate DJ Andrew T told me that celebrity choreographer - Wade Robson will be partying @Gotham Penthouse with his dancers after his Overdrive performance @Esplanade. Never a big fan of Wade, but bear in mind that my female friends may go ga-ga over him, so I sent out invites to my mates & asked Andrew to put us on Gotham RSVP guestlist…

Different groups of my friends were dropping by Gotham @late nite, despite the no-show of Wade Robson, thanks to my mates - Andrew, Lucas, Melissa, Zoei & co. I must say that I’ve enjoyed myself pretty much!

was @Gotham Penthouse last nite for the DJ Moto Party, which featured my cool mate - DJ Andrew T. Lyndnn came with me after our dinner around 9pm+, feel’in groovy & had some fun, just chill & not really crazy stuff going on…

On the full-moon Fri night, about 40+ of the fellow members of my Japanese Meetup Group came to my
Bishan home square garden to enjoy the full-moon gathering, Mooncakes, candles, lanterns, Choya Umeshu… U name it, we have it! Great fun with the group that have a mixture of Japanese, Koreans & Indians, Malaysians & Singaporeans…
