Happy 45th birthday to you, 華仔! You seem to fit my "Andy Lau is like carlets, finer as years go by…" description of you more than ever! Just feel that time is really passing fast, as it’s been almost 2 years since I last met U in Bishan…
As the title tribute to Andy Lau’s 100th movie - 阿虎, if any one has
watched & understand the moral of the movie delivering out, one word concludes all - Tenacity. Persistency & consistency are some area that I’m lacking of, that may explains why I’ve not achieved the success that my potential could lead me to…
Well, it’s still a rather enjoyable 27 Sep for me, as I played some tunes on the piano & sang my current favourite song called "Long Distance" @Singapore Art Cafe, Esplanade Library in the early evening. That was my 1st ever time
playing & singing that song to the public, & due to no prior preparation, it wasn’t up to my expectation for performing standard. However, friends & audience did find my performance enjoyable, which I acknowledged through their cheers & applause… Really hope that I can deliver a proper gig @Singapore Art Cafe soon, perhaps in Oct?
Around 9pm+, I went to Club MoMo together with Lyndnn & her cousins for Mr Singapore World
Final, as I promised my mate, Victor that I would be there to cheer for him. Although the contest was not as impressive as I thought, I did see some Caucasian chicks laughing erotically while the hunks fleshing their muscles on stage! Perhaps I am a 100% heterosexual man, therefore I didn’t enjoying the show as much as the fairer sex… Victor was crowned the title of Mr Personality & I did catch up with some of the other contestants after the show.
One interesting issue to highlight is that when I shared with Lyndnn about 1 finalist that was my favourite choice, she replied "That’s so Riki!" What she meant was that hunk resembled me in my younger & fitter days, well, I should take that as a compliment… Which also became the motivation for me to get back the bods & shape that I used to have 3,4 years ago…
